Jaclyn a été recrutée dans le sport de skeleton lorsqu’elle jouait au rugby universitaire avec l’équipe Calgary Rams. Une de ses amies était membre de l’équipe canadienne de luge, et elle a convaincu Jaclyn d’essayer le skeleton. Pour commencer, elle souffrait grandement de la cinèse, mais tout de même elle est devenue accro de ce sport de glisse passionnant!
Durant sa carrière de glisse de 15 ans, elle a concouru sur tous les circuits IBSF, remportant deux victoires en Coupe intercontinentale en 2015.
Dans sa vie professionnelle, Jaclyn exerce la fonction de conseillère en innovation avec la Société TransCanada, où elle fait progresser les projets à travers l’application de processus et d’outils novateurs.
Jaclyn est diplômée en commerce de l’Université de Calgary, avec une majeure en entrepreneuriat. Ses prédilections incluent la mode et le café, et elle s’est adonnée récemment au cyclisme.
