Kyle started off his athletic career playing football and basketball where he was a named an All Star in Regina. From there he went off to the University of Saskatchewan and competed on the track and field team for five years, winning the CanWest Championship in the 300m, 4x200 and 4x400 relays, finishing with a bronze in the 4x400m USport Championships. After his track career winding down, he attended a BCS identification camp in Saskatoon in 2016. Following this introduction to the sport, he was invited to participate in the National Team Testing Camp.Kyle has three podium finishes on the North American Cup. He also made his World Cup debut in 2022-23 season in Lake Placid, NY.

Kyle graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Education in secondary education.

He enjoys spending his free time hanging out with his cat Charlie, catching up on Netflix and reading.

Did You Know…

Kyle’s hero is Jon Montgomery, and naturally, his favourite track is the Whistler Sliding Centre. He owns his own gym, and runs his own strength and conditioning company out of it.
