Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton Statement on Passing of Mr. Frank King

“On behalf of Canada’s entire bobsleigh and skeleton community, our thoughts and prayers are with the family and close friends of Mr. Frank King – a true visionary, leader and Olympic hero. Mr. King’s incredible vision and passion for sport sparked the Olympic dream in all of us. The legacy of facilities he created at Canada Olympic Park continue to serve as a medal generating factory for Canada’s bobsleigh and skeleton athletes 30 years later, but more importantly, are responsible for a healthier and more active Calgary and Canada. It is a sad day for the entire Olympic family.”
