Medal Winning Bobsleigh and Skeleton Athletes Return to Olympic City in Seaplane to Kick off 2010-11 Season, Launch World Cup

VANCOUVERCanada’s medal-winning bobsleigh and skeleton athletes will return to

the 2010 Olympic City in true Vancouver style – in a Harbour Air Seaplane – to officially

name Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton’s World Cup Teams, while kicking off Viessmann FIBT

World Cup festivities on the west coast.

 

The media conference will take place beside the cauldron at the Jack Poole Plaza in

downtown Vancouver, November 18, 2010 at 11 a.m.

 

Canada’s bobsleigh and skeleton athletes will be the lone sports to return to Vancouver-

Whistler for a World Cup competition during the post-Olympic season. The 2010

Viessmann FIBT World Cup circuit gets underway at the Whistler Sliding Centre,

November 25-27.
