“Jon has a track record for delivering results and growing revenue by working collaboratively with his colleagues and strategic partners,” said Sarah Storey, president, Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton, who added the Canadian Olympic Committee and Carmen Drouin & Associates played a critical role in leading the extensive national search for the new chief executive officer. “His passion, dedication, and drive for excellence, along with his proven leadership and strategic management skills, will help drive forward Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton’s high-performance culture from the office onto the track, and ultimately, help the organization continue to build our pool of corporate partners.”

One of his main focuses will be on delivering the tools and resources athletes need to excel by attracting new corporate partners, while strengthening existing relationships.
“The economic challenges we are facing today are much more regionalized than in 2008,” added Jackson. “We need to identify sectors that are currently strong, and align ourselves with those potential partners by telling the compelling story of our athletes. That will be the key to our success.”
