Canada’s Medal Winning Bobsleigh and Skeleton Athletes Slide into Calgary for World Cup Season Finale

—Canadian athletes to hold media availabilities around Tuesday, February 7, training—
CALGARY—Fresh off a dominant medal-winning performance at the Whistler Sliding Centre, Canada’s bobsleigh and skeleton athletes will host the top sliding sport athletes on the globe in Calgary for their final World Cup of the season, February 9-11.
The Canadian squad will hold media availabilities around their official training sessions on Tuesday, February 7. The skeleton team will be on the Canada Olympic Park track in Calgary at 10 a.m. MST, while the bobsleigh athletes will hit the start block at 3 p.m. MST. Interviews will be held at the finish line at the completion of training.
Canadian athletes grabbed three gold and two bronze medals at the World Cup in Whistler, B.C.
The Calgary World Cup, presented by Visitcalgary.com, will be televised on Sportsnet at the following times: February 9 at 8 p.m. EST; February 10 at 8:30 p.m. EST; and February 11 at 7 p.m. EST.
