Canada’s Tyler Seitz Named to FIBT Track Committee

Canada’s Tyler Seitz has been named to the FIBT Track Committee by the international federation’s executive team.

The track commission reviews all tracks in the world for safety and compliance. The commission also plays a role in new track evaluation.

Seitz, a former Olympic luge athlete, worked at the Whistler Sliding Centre in the lead up, and during the 2010 Olympics. Since the Vancouver Games, Seitz has been the manager, building and track operations for Winsport Canada in Calgary.

Joining Seitz on the Committee is:

Caleb Sawade – Great Britain

Thomas Schwab – Germany 

Vladimir Boytsov - Russia

Tony Carlino - USA

Christoph Glocker

Peter Knauseder

The names of the successful committee members are submitted by their respective countries, and picked by the FIBT executive.
