Calgary Mayor Race Hits Downtown Streets in Canadian Bobsleds

—Mayor candidates to race in bobsleigh on wheels in front of Flames Central, Oct. 12—

 

CALGARYTwo of Calgary’s candidates running for Mayor will take their election campaigns to the downtown streets where they will race head-to-head – only this time in bobsleds.

 


Barb Higgins and Craig Burrows will hop into specially-designed authentic bobsleighs on wheels while teaming up with national team athletes in a unique Battle of the Bobsleds.

 


Starting in front of Flames Central at 12 noon on Thursday, October 12, the athletes will push each of the Mayor candidates over one city block to the finish line.
